Backwards Paper-head Skeleton
This one is a bit twisted, literally! Haha! I found a skeleton torso that had been dismembered and sat it on a stool. Then i needed a head, but I as luck would have it, the studio was empty of them that day (everyone probably snuck them home so they wouldn't have to come in), so I stuck a paper model of a skull I had previously done on the stump of a neck. And there we have it.
I wanted a back angle of the torso so I could get the vertebrae. And them plopped the skull on backwards to make it interesting. And it turned out quite well. The skull almost looks like it's supposed to be on like that.
I started off the drawing with a quick sketch in a red pencil, to get the proportions and relations right. Then took a 4B charcoal pencil and went over it in a real light grasp so the pencil could wander a bit.
